Deodhar rules out BJP's alliance with YSRC
Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh BJP in-charge Sunil Deodhar has refuted reports of BJP joining hands with YSR Congress, which has earned reputation as running a factional government.
“BJP will not ally with YSRC, as it is a faction and corrupt party,” Deodhar told reporters here after participating in the inaugural event of National Level Talent Competitions at the National Sanskrit University in Tirupati on Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters, he said: "Jagan becoming AP's CM is a curse for people. He is attempting to put an end to Telugu language. Many Telugu schools have already been closed. Only English medium and Christian missionary schools are being encouraged,” the BJP in-charge underlined.
He maintained that TTD has also undergone several changes, damaging the sacredness of Tirumala shrine.
On claims that YSRC will secure 175 seats, he said time will decide who will win.
Deodhar asserted that CBI is acting impartially in Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy murder case. “It is not right to criticise CBI. Whoever did wrong should be punished. That is what is happening in the case of Viveka's murder,” he underlined.
