CM N Chandrababu Naidu hints at takeover of Sakshi media by the government soon

Rajahmundry: Expressing displeasure over the way the state government’s welfare schemes and developmental are being shown in a negative manner by Sakshi media despite getting appreciation from the people, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu hinted that it may be taken over by the government soon.
Taking part in a programme here on Wednesday, the CM said a large number of people were being benefited by the welfare schemes and developmental works taken up by the government and added that Sakshi media was showing them in poor light with ulterior motive.
He said that given huge debts to Sakshi media, the state government would take it over soon. He said on June 2, Nava Nirmana Deeksha would be held in AP with an aim to develop it in a big way
CM braves rain, takes part in spree of programmes
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu braved incessant rainfall on Wednesday and took part in a spree of inaugurations and foundation laying programmes during a whirlwind visit to Rajahmundry and other parts of EG district. Though the CM was scheduled to arrive to Rajahmundry at about 10 am, he arrived about two hours late.
He inaugurated the Tribal Youth Training Centre at Bommuru village and Swasakthi Note Book industry. He said that 14 such groups had come forward with an investment of Rs 94.72 lakh and they further got loans worth Rs 99 lakh from Andhra Bank and set up the unit.
The CM gave away tablets to 36 students who secured highest marks in SSC, Intermediate and JEE exams. He inaugurated Social Welfare Girls’ Residential school/college’’s additional building.
The CM laid the foundation stone for construction of shops and for developmental works at Nagula Cheruvu Bazaar. He then inaugurated the illumination of the rail-cum-road bridge across Godavari River. He also laid the foundation stone for construction of a shopping complex at Danawaipeta Municipal High School.
Mr Naidu laid the foundation stone for construction of a reservoir with a 1,000 kilo litres capacity, to be taken up at a cost of Rs 275 lakh at Sarangadhara Metta.
