Karnataka: Don't spread rumours, Shivarajkumar tells fans
Both the sons requested everyone not to indulge in spreading rumours and panic on social media.
Bengaluru: Following reports in a web-based local media portal and a section of tabloid newspapers regarding the health of Parvathamma Rajkumar, senior doctors at M. S. Ramaiah Hospital held a press conference here on Thursday and requested the public not to spread rumours. Two of her sons Shivarajakumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar were also present.
The doctors said that she was admitted after she complained of uneasiness during breathing and now she has been put on the ventilator in the ICU. "It is a normal procedure when a patient is put on ventilator support, to observe the patient for over period of 48 hours. One of the kidneys may require dialysis and will be done so only if it's needed," the doctors said.
Both the sons requested everyone not to indulge in spreading rumours and panic on social media. “We are all worried as our mother is on ventilator support, and are praying for her recovery. Do no spread false information about her health. She is doing better as of now and is being constantly supervised by a team of doctors," Shivarajkumar said. Raghavendra Rajkumar also appealed to the public to remain calm and pray for her recovery.
