It’s Gandhi versus Godse, says Congress
Thulasi Reddy claimed that Modi’s era would end with this election and AICC president Rahul Gandhi will become the new PM in the coming days.
Vijayawada: Congress has termed election-2019 as a fight between successors of Gandhi and Godse and claimed that Gandhi’s successors will win the elections. AP Congress Committee vice-president N. Thulasi Reddy said that Gandhiji’s non-violence brought Independence to our country and influenced World countries. He objected against the BJP leaders praising Nathuram Godse despite Godse killing Mahatma Gandhi and said that Indians are up in arms over worshipping of Godse by the BJP.
He claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s era would end with this election and AICC president Rahul Gandhi will become the new PM in the coming days. He said that United Nations declared October 2 which was Gandhiji’s birthday as the ‘World Non-violence Day’ but sadly, BJP has been worshipping Godse and trying to portray him as a hero.
Mr Thulasi Reddy opined that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with his heedless decision of demonetisation and GST, damaged development in the country and further alleged that the public are up in arms against the BJP for the rise in corruption, including Rafale warplanes scam. He predicted that UPA-III will come into power with the support of alliance parties after May 23.
He said that the Congress Government, led by AICC president Rahul Gandhi, will give Special Category Status to AP State and would fulfill bifurcation promises given to our State.
