Bidar lynching: MIM pays Rs 1 lakh, seeks relief from Karnataka

Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Wednesday said the Chief Minister of Karnataka, H.D. Kumaraswamy, must pay compensation to the family of software professional Mohd Azam lynched by a mob in Bidar earlier this month. 

The AIMIM party gave Rs 1 lakh to the family of Mohd Azam and another Rs 25,000 to the family of Mohd Salman, who was injured in the attack. Malakpet legislator Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala met the parents of Mohd Azam and handed over the cheque.
