K T Rama Rao helps two girls to pursue higher studies

Hyderabad: Merely a few hours after two girls reached out for help, TRS working president K.T. Rama Rao called them in for a meeting and resolved their concerns.

Ms Rachana of Kathalapur mandal, Jagtial district said she was a child when she lost her parents. She finished schooling from Government Girls High School, Jagtial and then completed her polytechnics diploma from State Home, Yousufguda.
Ms Rachana told Mr Rama Rao she had secured a good rank in the ECET and a seat in the Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, however, she could not afford the fee. Subsequently, Mr Rama Rao met her and gave her a cheque to cover the fee.
Ms Rachana said to Mr Rama Rao that financial struggles keep orphans from pursuing higher education and requested him to provide reservations to the poor.
Mr Rama Rao appreciated the thought and assured to forward her request to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s office.
Mr Rama Rao also met Anjali, a student of Telangana State Residential Junior College, Hasanparthy. She had scored well in the JEE Advanced and secured a seat in IIT-Indore, however, her father Ramesh, an autorickshaw driver, could not arrange the fee. Mr Rama Rao gave her a cheque to cover the fee amount.
