Jagan to remit Rs 137 Cr to benefit 3.39 L persons under YSR Kanuka today
Under YSR Pension Kanuka scheme, 2,99,085 new beneficiaries with an additional expenditure of Rs 935 crore per annum to get social pension
Vijayawada: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to remit Rs 137 crore to benefit 3,39,096 persons under YSR Pension Kanuka on Tuesday.
Under YSR Pension Kanuka scheme, 2,99,085 new beneficiaries with an additional expenditure of Rs 935 crore per annum to get social pension.
As many as 7,051 rice cards are sanctioned afresh by taking the total number of rice cards to 1,45,47,036. Nearly 3,035 new YSR Aarogyasri cards are sanctioned taking the total cards to 1,41,12,752.
With regard to implementation of welfare schemes, in case those who failed to avail any scheme despite being eligible, the state government is providing an opportunity to them so that they can apply in the village/ward secretariat within a month to avail such benefits.
Accordingly, for welfare schemes implemented from December to May, beneficiaries can avail by end of June and for welfare schemes implemented from June to November, the beneficiary can avail in December as the state government is committed to help every eligible person to avail the welfare schemes without fail in the state.
