Delay in works annoys KT Ramarao
He said development works have not completed even after August 15 though the last date for the works was June 2 itself.
RAJANNA SIRCILLA: Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K.T. Ramarao on Friday expressed displeasure over the delay in completing the development and beautification works in the Sircilla town and warned the officials concerned of stern action if they failed to complete the works before the extended last dates. He said development works have not completed even after August 15 though the last date for the works was June 2 itself.
While reviewing with the officials concerned the development works in the Sircilla town, the minister said the officials concerned have failed to uphold the promise they made over completion of works and added the people in the town and outsiders coming to Sircilla for works are facing problems with the ongoing road works and shifting electric poles.
He questioned the officials concerned why they have not yet completed the Kargil Cheruvu and Kotta Cheruvu works and asked the collector Krishna Bhaskar and SP Vishwajit Compati to adopt a tank each one and complete the works and their beautification as early as possible.
Earlier, along with agriculture minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, Mr Ramarao inaugurated the Agriculture Market Godown at Sardapur in Thangalapelli mandal. He also inaugurated the new police station in Sircilla town along with the Karimnagar MP B. Vinod Kumar.
