BENGALURU: With a modest beginning from a single-room school, Shree Sharada Vidya Peeta has come a long way in its 50-year-old journey to provide quality education.
As the institution celebrates its Golden Jubilee, its contribution towards upbringing the social situation around Byatarayanapura is something that stays afresh in the minds of generations of nearby residents.
The institution which was later shifted to Ramappa Swamy Mutt saw more names added to the academic rolls along with better facilities and a well-trained faculty making their contributions in engineering creative and social minds.
Things got even better when the institution made its way to their own land and building on the occasion of their silver jubilee in 1992. The introduction of degree courses to the programmes offered along with schooling and pre-university classes came as an added advantage for the students as they were saved from scouting for another place to pursue higher education.
Thanks to the able leadership and productive thoughts of M.C. Ashwath Narayan, Patel Pandu, B.M. Ganagana, M Gopinath Swamy, late Dr K.V. Chandrana Gowda, B.R. Gopinath and B.K. Ram Murthy, the Vidya Peet decided to offer studies in English Medium as well with reasonable fee structures to cater to the contemporary needs of the developing society settled in the surroundings.
Giving equal importance to the overall development of students, the management firmly believes that the contributions and the support provided by the society keeps them striving to improve themselves.
