M.K. Ganapati is the second DySP to took his own life.

Mysuru: “Ganapathy was not important to them. It was only a political game. Everyone abandoned me after Minister K J George resigned.”

Disappointed over the ‘B’ report being filed by CID officers giving a clean chit to former minister K.J. George, senior officers  Pranab Mohanty and A.M. Prasad in the suicide case of DySP Mr M.K. Ganapathi,  his wife Pawan K.K. disclosed this to Deccan Chronicle.

“It is injustice. I am waiting to know the details of the CID report, which will be available on Monday. I had a lot of hope that we will get justice, when there was a sea of support after  Ganapathi’s death. Once ex Minister Mr K J George resigned they all went silent. If I remain silent they will make allegations against me. There is absolutely no support from anywhere, not even financially. I have now realised, Ganapathy is not important to them. It was only a political game. They only took advantage. At the end of the day it was only me and my elder son Nehal who had to run around for the CID investigation. I am from a well off family. I am not used to going alone anywhere. My elder son is doing his civil Engineering course , the younger one is in class 10th. I am now a single parent, I have so much to manage. I have to take care of the children, the estate everything.  After seeing the report on Monday, I will discuss with my family, and check about the support I am getting. Justice has become a mirage. I will do my best. My sons know what I am, that’s enough for me. At the end, I will leave it to God. God will see to them,” she said.

When Deccan Chronicle contacted, DG CID Mr Kishore Chandra, he said  there were no evidence against the accused. But when asked about Ganapathi’s statement that the trio were responsible for his death, he said, “Yes, but there were no collaborative evidence..”
