Moderate rains in Telangana in next three days

HYDERABAD: The state is very likely to receive light to moderate rainfall in the next three days owing to new weather systems.

As per the IMD, under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over northwest and adjoining central Bay of Bengal, a low pressure area has been formed over the Bay of Bengal off West Bengal-Odisha coasts. The associated cyclonic circulation extends 7.6 km above mean sea level. It is likely to move across north Odisha and south Jharkhand during the next two days.

Due to the cyclonic circulation, the state is very likely to receive light to moderate rain or thundershower at many places.

Light to moderate lists with thunderstorms and gusty winds were recorded in the districts of Jagtial, Jogulamba, Gadwal, Kamareddy, Mahbubnagar, Mancherial, Medak, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Narayanpet, Nirmal, Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Suryapet, Vikarabad, Wanaparthy on Wednesday

In the next 48 hours, the city will experience a generally cloudy sky with hazy mornings. Light to moderate rains are very likely with windy weather.
