YSRC IT Wing Plunges into Jagananna Pragathi Patham'
VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who deputed ministers, legislators, leaders, volunteers and YSRC rank and file to meet people and highlight about the welfare schemes and developments in the last one year, has now pressed IT professionals into campaigning in the name of ‘Jagananna Pragathi Patham’.
IT professionals from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and other places gathered in large numbers at the Indira Gandhi municipal corporation stadium here on Saturday and launched an IT army operation highlighting AP’s 50 per cent growth in GSDP in the last four years and other achievements.
The YSRC IT wing activists took out a massive rally in the city’s streets and highlighted the achievements and developmental milestones of the YSRC government. The rally, covering a distance of 3.5 km, concluded at the YSR statue.
Addressing the media at the starting point, the wing’s state president Suneel Kumar Reddy said, "The rally aims to showcase the accomplishments of the YSRC government to the public and dispel misinformation propagated by the pro-TD media. We will present a comprehensive overview of developments under Chief Minister Y S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, including construction of ports and fishing harbours, industrial growth, and MoUs valued at Rs 13.5 lakh crore signed during the GIS meet."
The members traversed through the lanes of MG road and the towering YSR statue at Dr YSR Park. Zonal in-charge of the wing Manjunath Yadav highlighted the advancements in the state’s industrial landscape over the past 4.5 years. He revealed that the state had topped in Ease of Doing Business in 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. He pointed out that AP’s 50% growth in GSDP in the last four years reflects the state’s development.
"During Chandrababu Naidu's tenure (2014-2019), a mere 37,956 new MSMEs emerged across the state. In sharp contrast, the last four years saw a staggering six-fold surge to touch 2.5 lakh new MSMEs, which are currently contributing to the employment of 16.57 lakh individuals."
Yadav said "Giants like Microsoft, Jindal, Reliance, Adani, Laurus Synthesis, TCS, Infosys, Hero Motocorp, Yokohama, Grasim Industries and Greenko Energy are keen on investing in the state, solidifying its stature as a flourishing epicenter for industrial advancement."
Speaking about educational advancement, the wing’s state coordinator Kumara Swamy Reddy said, "The government places a key focus on delivering quality education. A significant investment of '11,700 crore over the past four years has transformed 38,059 schools. Setting itself apart from other Indian states, the state administration is at the forefront of transforming traditional classrooms into digital learning spaces. Notably, 60,000 interactive flat panels and 10,000 smart TVs have been deployed while 5.8 lakh private online education player’s tablets have been given to students in government schools."
The wing’s state secretary Surendra Bhavanam highlighted the state’s economic strides.
"AP has seen a substantial improvement in per capita income. From the 17th position in 2019, AP is ranked ninth."
An impressive 4,93,000 government jobs have been provided, with 2,13,662 being permanent positions. This shift underscores the substantial strides made in governance and job creation under the current leadership, he said.
The rally saw the participation of other top office-bearers and coordinators like Bhaskar Koppala, Rosi Reddy, Prathap Mukundapuram, Sudheer and Sindhura, among others.
