BENGALURU: After a red signal from the state government and the city police for the New Year's Eve event ‘Sunny Nights’, in which Bollywood actress Sunny Leone was to perform, the organiser of the event moved the HC on Monday seeking directions to the police to reconsider their decision.
Harish M.S., MD, Time Creation, the ad agency hosting the show, has requested the court to allow the event scheduled to be held at White Orchid Hotel at Nagavara.
Harish requested the court to order the police to allow the event and provide adequate security to avoid any untoward incident. He told DCthat his attempts to meet Minister Ramalinga Reddy requesting him to reconsider went in vain and approaching the HC was inevitable as the preparations are nearly done. The HC may hear the case in a day or two.
