Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Saturday rejected a House motion petition of the AP government against conducting an NIA probe into the knife attack on YSR Congress president and Opposition leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

This came as a big jolt to the Telugu Desam government, which planned to halt the NIA probe into the knife attack. The state government had filed a house motion petition, objecting to handing over of the knife attack case to the NIA.
