Hyderabad: School law ignored, says parents
Hyderabad School Parents Association alleges, not a single government order implemented strictly.
Hyderabad: Not a single government order, rule or Act pertaining to school education was being implemented strictly, the Hyderabad School Parents Association alleged on Friday.
HSPA members stated that the statement of objectives of Capitation Fees Act of 1983, which does not allow collection of ‘one-time’ fees at the time of admission, was being ignored. Rule 17 (50 per cent fee to be paid as salaries to teachers), Rules 18.4 and 18.5 (separate account for each accounting head), Rule 19, Rule 20 (submission of accounts to government) of GO-1 were just on paper.
Other government orders, numbered 91 and 246 relating to purchase of stationery, use of words like techno schools, Olympiad schools are also being ignored, it said.
