Attaching representations from DMK and other parties which alleged violence inside the House and irregularities in the way the voting took place, Mr Rao sent a letter to Mr Jamaludeen asking him to furnish a detailed report.
“The Governor has sought a factual and detailed report from the Assembly Secretary immediately on the events that took place on Saturday,” sources said, adding that Mr Jamaludeen is expected to send the report to the Governor on Monday.
