Class 12 TN student ends life over poor Maths exam
After writing the Mathematics public examination on Friday, she was worried over her poor performance.
Salem: In a gripping youth tragedy near the steel city, a plus-2 girl student, vexed over her poor performance in Mathematics examination, committed suicide on Friday.
According to police, Suhasini, 17, daughter of Palanisamy was studying plus-two at government higher secondary school at Chinnappampatti near Salem. The girl’s father works as a driver in Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, while her mother Valarmathi teaches in a government school.
After writing the Mathematics public examination on Friday, she was worried over her poor performance. In the afternoon, she talked to her mother over phone and lamented for not doing well in the exam. Dejected over her performance, the girl decided to commit suicide and jumped into the well.
