Tirumala temple gears up for Sri Rama Navami fete
In the evening, the lord will be taken on a ride on Hanumantha Vahanam around the four mada streets between 7 pm and 9 pm.
Nellore: In view of Sri Rama Navami which would be on March 25, Asthanam will be observed at the Tirumala temple the same day inside the temple between 10 pm and 11 pm at Bangaru Vakili. Snapana Tirumanjanam will be held in the morning between 9 am and 11 am in Ranganayakuka Mandapam as part of the Utsavarulu of Sri Sita Lakshmana Anjaneya Sameta Sri Ramachandramurty.
In the evening, the lord will be taken on a ride on Hanumantha Vahanam around the four mada streets between 7 pm and 9 pm. Coronation ceremony of Lord Sri Rama will be observed in Srivari temple on March 26. Asthanam will be performed at 8 pm at Bangaru Vakili. TTD cancelled Vasanthotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas on March 25 and Vasanthotsavam on March 26.
Meanwhile lord Sri Kodanda Rama blessed devotees on Kalpavriksha Vahanam on the fourth day morning during the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Kodanadarama Swamy temple at Tirupati. The devotees were mused by the very sight of Sri Rama on the divine tree-Kalpavriksha Vahanam. After the vahana seva, the deities were rendered Snapana Tirumanjanam. In the evening Unjal Seva was performed. DyEO Smt Jhansi, Executive Engineer Jagadeeswara Reddy, AVSO Ganga Raju, Suptd Munikrishna Reddy, Temple Inspector Sesha Reddy and other temple staff, large number of devotees were also present.
