Dr G Sanjeeva Reddy elected as INTUC president
INTUC is the largest trade union in the world according to INTUC-GB Brussels, Belgium.
Hyderabad: Dr G. Sanjeeva Reddy has been elected president of the Indian National Trade Union Congress for the sixth consecutive term at its 92nd general council meeting of INTUC at Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on March 16 and 17.
Intuc is the largest trade union in the world according to INTUC-GB Brussels, Belgium. Dr Reddy is the paid member of the union.
The other office bearers who were elected were Rajendra Prasad Singh, ex-deputy chief minister of Jharkhand R.C. Kunthia, M Raghavaiah, R. Chandra Shekaran, Ashok Singh and Sanjay Singh.
Mr K.K. Nair is the treasurer and Mr B Janak Prasad, Mr E. Sridhar, Mr Mantri Rajshekhar, Mr V. Bhaskar Reddy, Mr G. Satyajeeth Reddy, Mr V. Kranthi Kumar, Mr Adil Shariff and Mr R.D. Chandra Shekar were appointed secretaries.
