Heat wave alert in Telangana for three days

Hyderabad: The Met department has warned of heat waves for the next three days in the state. Heat waves are likely to prevail over many parts in the districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Hyderabad, Ranga Reddy, Medak, Mahbubnagar, Warangal and Nalgonda of Telangana for the next 72 hours.

On Tuesday, the day temperatures in Hyderabad were higher than the previous two days, with the maximum reported at 40.5ºC. However, thunderclouds have been forecast for the coming days. For Wednesday, the forecast is of partly cloudy sky with chances of thunderclouds developing towards the evening or night.
