Yogi Adityanath to rein Hindu Vahini boys
In the past one month, Hindu Yuva Vahini activists have been hitting headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Lucknow: UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has finally decided to rein in the Hindu Yuva Vahini (HYV) that has been going overboard with its brand of vigilantism after the formation of the Yogi government in the state.
In the past one month, Hindu Yuva Vahini activists have been hitting headlines for all the wrong reasons — from stopping prayers in a church in Maharajganj to harassing a couple in Meerut.
Yogi Adityanath, also the founder of the Hindu Yuva Vahini, has asked the party office bearers to take strict action against the offenders. He has made it clear that he would not tolerate any ‘nonsense’ from those who are linked to the outfit. Yogi Adityanath has also put a full stop on new members. Ever since he was sworn in as Chief Minister, the HYV has been receiving thousands fo applications every day for membership.
State president of HYV, Rakesh Rai said on Wednesday that those who were involved in the incidents on Maharajganj and Meerut had already been expelled on charges of indiscipline.
