Hyderabad: Man missing, kin file complaint
Police suspects that Deenath Reddy left because of depression.
Hyderabad: A 36-year-old man, who was working as a supervisor at a water bottle company, went missing in the early hours of Friday. Police said the man, P. Deenath Reddy, left home as usual on Friday at around 5:30 am and told his father that he was going to work.
Deenath’s workplace is on the ground floor of the same building, but later he messaged his friend and father that he was leaving home for six to nine months.
Based on a complaint by his father, Patti Jalapathi Reddy, 67, a missing person case was registered at Osmania University police station.
“The man left home like any other day and his father was awake at that time. After a while his father and his childhood friend and work associate received a text message from his number stating that he will come back only after some months,” said sub inspector B. Harishwar Reddy of Osmania University police station.
Police suspects that Deenath Reddy left because of depression.
However, his father, P. Jalapathi Reddy, said that he did not show any signs of depression but he woke up a little earlier than usual on Friday and took the dog out.
“He was not carrying any extra luggage with him. just his regular bag,” said the father.
