BJP trying to disturb south through unethical politics'.
Guntur: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) adopted undemocratic, illegal practices to grab power in Karnataka, without the required majority.
He took objection to the political conspiracy undertaken by the BJP in Karnataka to come into power and alleged that Governors in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka had damaged democracy in the states. He inspected under construction roads, All-India officers quarters and layouts in Amaravati on Saturday. Mr Naidu affirmed that Amaravati will be in a good shape in the next six months.
The Chief Minister claimed that BJP was trying to disturb southern states through its unethical politics. Pointing towards YSR Congress, he alleged that the Opposition parties were not questioning the undemocratic affairs of the BJP in Karnataka due to their collusion with the BJP.
Naidu alleged that some forces were trying to restrain Amaravati’s development and claimed that the government was developing all areas of Andhra Pradesh under decentralised development.
He said that the Central government will get Income Tax, Central Excise Tax, Service Tax and other taxes from new capital Amaravati. Hence the onus is Union government has to allot funds for Amaravati.
Mr Naidu alleged that the Central government had given huge funds for the construction of a big statue of a leader but was unwilling to give funds on par to Amaravati.
He said that ‘criticising Amaravati’s development works were putting a negative impact on the new capital’s establishment’ and appealed the public not to criticise Amaravati works.
Mr Naidu said that people need not worry about the construction of Amaravati as the government will borrow money and take loans through Amaravati Development Bonds on a less interest rate. He stated that leaders, who were creating hurdles towards the new capital’s establishment will remain ‘characterless’ people in the history of Amaravati.
Pointing out the recent violence in Guntur city, he said that the TD government is giving top priority to law and order while some parties are trying to create disturbance and warned that no one will be spared for law and order violation.
Mr Naidu said that various under construction works in Amaravati will get a good shape in the next six months with the Rs 24,000 crore worth roads, buildings, lay outs, greenery and other works turning Amaravati as the ‘Best’ city of the world.
