Kurnool: Rayalaseema retired Inspector General of Police S.M. Iqbal who recently joined Yuvajana Shramika Rythu Congress Party said on Saturday that the welfare of minorities could be looked after only with humanist politician Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.  He said Jagan practices what he preaches unlike other politicians from the state.

Addressing media at the party office here, Iqbal said political winds are changing fast in Andhra Pradesh and Jagan could be the right choice to provide leadership to the State.

Flanked by B.Y. Ramaiah, Parliamentary constituency in-charge, and Hafeez Khan, Assembly constituency in-charge, Iqbal said there is always scope for people to do service to the large number of downtrodden in the society.

The absence of State General Secretary Gouru Venkata Reddy and Katasani Rami Reddy was noticeable as it appeared to be only an affair of minorities cell of the party.
