KT Rama Rao orders KTR-IT park road repair

Hyderabad: Days after residents of Gokul Plots protested by renaming the Hafeezpet-Hitec City MMTS station road as KTR-IT Park Road, minister K.T. Rama Rao on Saturday ordered the GHMC to road repair works.
Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi met the minister and apprised him of the situation. In a statement, Mr Gandhi said that Mr Rama Rao had ordered the GHMC commissioner and the chief engineer to provide basic amenities to residents of Gokul Plots and Ayyappa Society.
The residents, frustrated techies, had put up several banners on the damaged KPHB-Hafeezpet, road calling it ‘KTR-IT Park Road’ with a caution: ‘Safety at risk’.
The residents wanted basic amenities like roads and street lights and respite from mosquitoes.
Mr.Gandhi hoped that there would be no irregularities in laying roads which would be beneficial not only for the residents of Hafeezpet and Madhapur division but also for commuters.
