On camera, BJP minister uses shocking language against former PM
Congress is demanding strict action against Gulab Chand Kataria for his comments.
Churu: Rajasthan Home Minister and BJP leader Gulab Chand Kataria stirred a political controversy for using foul language while talking about former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during a meet with BJP workers in Churu on Sunday.
Kataria compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Manmohan Singh and said, “Desh ka pradhan mantri pehle Manmohan Singh jab America utarta tha, toh sa** ko receive karne kay liye aira gaira nathu gaira mantri ja karke airport se leke ata tha. Lekin ab jab Hindustan ka pradhan mantri jab jata hai na, toh Obama swayam jata hai unki agwani karne ke liye.”
(Translation: When Prime Minister Manmohan Singh used to visit America, that sa** was received by ordinary ministers at the airport. But now when India’s Prime Minister goes there, US President Obama himself comes to receive him.)

His speech soon started making the rounds on social media and has angered the Congress, which is demanding strict action against Kataria.
Under fire from the Opposition, Kataria soon took to Twitter to defend himself and claimed that he did not used derogatory language against the former Prime Minister. He however said that he expresses regret if people were hurt by what he said.
“I haven’t made any negative statements against former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. If someone felt bad because of what I said then I express regret,” Kataria said in his tweet.
