Coimbatore: At the last moment, police denied permission for Kamal's public meeting that was scheduled at Pollachi-Thiruvallur Thidal on Wednesday. As part of the ‘Makkal Payanam’ rally, Makkal Needhi Maiam leader Kamal landed at Coimbatore airport on Wednesday morning, to attend the second day of the workshop organized for party cadres. The release of seven convicts in connection with the Rajiv Gandhi assassination should happen at any cost, even if it gets delayed. Present day politicians cannot bring about changes. This should start from the youth, and so we are focusing on youth, added Kamal.
