Aditya Sachdeva death: Bihar govt to move SC against Rocky Yadav's bail
Rocky Yadav, son of the suspended JD (U) MLC and gangster Bindi Yadav, had gunned down 16-year-old Aditya Sachdeva.
Patna: The Bihar government on Thursday decided to move the Supreme Court against the Patna High Court's decision to grant bail to former Janata Dal (United) MLC Manorama Devi's son Rocky Yadav, who was arrested in May for shooting a college student in Bihar in a case of road rage.
Rocky Yadav, son of the suspended JD (U) MLC and gangster Bindi Yadav, had gunned down 16-year-old Aditya Sachdeva who had allegedly overtaken Rocky's SUV while he was coming back home from a birthday party.
When Aditya and his friends overtook Rocky's SUV, an angry Rocky chased them and then gunned down Aditya.
After the incident, Rocky had gone on the run. Few days after the gruesome killing, Rocky was arrested by the Gaya police from a factory owned by Rocky's father.
Following the bail granted by the Patna High Court, Rocky is expected to be out of jail within one or two days. Rocky was granted bail by the Chief Justice Iqbal Ahmed Ansari Wednesday evening.
With the news of Rocky getting bail, the family members of Aditya are in a state of shock.
His parents, who were also arrested in connection with the road rage case, had also been released on bail earlier.
