National Green Tribunal gives last chance to Telangana and AP on Polavaram
The petitioner stated that the design of the project had been changed several times.

Hyderabad: The National Green Tribunal has posted the Polavaram case to November 21 while stating that this would be the last opportunity for AP, TS and the Centre to respond a petition. filed by a NGO called Rela.
The petitioner stated that the design of the project had been changed several times. It was made a national project later and environmental clearances given initially were not valid, it said.
The NGT has ordered the project superintendent engineer to take complaints from the displaced persons and inform the Centre about the same after solving the grievances.
