TSRTC to launch its cargo service

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation has decided to launch its own cargo service shortly.

Transport minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar who reviewed a cargo model of the bus on Thursday told TSRTC officials that it will be red in colour and will be exhibited on Monday.

The minister said that he had also written a letter to all public representatives, MLAs and MLCs, requesting them to patronise the corporation, travel by its buses and sort out issues if any.

He said the colour of the uniform for employees is almost ready and  advised officers to motivate the employees to run the services efficiently, adding that the expected revenue and occupancy ratio have not yet reached the expected levels.
