Hyderabad: Muslims fume over baby pamper

Hyderabad: Activists of the Darsgah Jihad-o-Shahadat on Tuesday lodged a complaint with the Dabeerpura police alleging that a company engaged in production and distribution of baby pampers had shown disrespect to Prophet Mohammed. In a complaint, they alleged that 'Standard Baby Dry Pants’ company had printed the word 'Mohammed’ in Urdu and Arabic on each pamper.
“We consider the word Mohammed very sacred and the company had deliberately printed on each pamper and intended to hurt the Muslim community,” said one of the complainants Shahnoor Khan. He added that it was a wilful attempt to spark communal unrest in the city. “We Muslims have faith and strong belief that Prophet Mohamed is holy personality in Islam and such disrespect cannot be tolerated by whom Muslim community. “Following similar spotting in Kashmir, the protest was held there. We as law-abiding citizens approached the police.
