TTD told to File Report on hotel app

The HC on Tuesday told TTD to file a report explaining the progress in introducing an app to receive complaints from devotees.

HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday told Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) to file a report explaining the progress in introducing an app to receive complaints from devotees against alleged loot of hoteliers and stall owners at Tirumala and also the process of finalising tenders for allotment of stalls in the temple town, by March 13.

A Division Bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice K. Vijaya Lakshmi was dealing a public interest litigation filed by Parihaara Sewa Samithi, seeking to declare inaction of TTD in taking action against hoteliers for selling food and beverages at exorbitant rates.
