Dean Koontz’s 1981 fiction dealt on China virus

Hyderabad: The global epidemic Covid-19 was discussed in the book written by Dean Koontz, ‘The Eyes of Darkness,’ released in the year 1981.

The author mentions the Covid-19 as ‘Wuhan 400,’ which would be developed in the R&D labs on the outskirts of Wuhan, in around 2020, and a severe pneumonia like illness will spread throughout the globe.

Four decades after the book being published, Covid-19 outburst with the timing and symptoms matching the description in the book, this coincidence is being trolled all over social media. The talk online has triggered the sales of this book. But the fear that is gripping most is the question of whether this virus was indeed developed in labs.
