Online course for teachers in IB curriculum

Hyderabad: To equip the teaching fraternity with the skills required to teach IB curriculum, US-based California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) has offered online teaching programmes to Indian teachers. The IB Educator Certificate in Teaching and Learning is a fully online, two-semester course that can be completed in six months, Robert Carolin from CSUSM said.

After taking any of the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the Diploma Programme (DP), teachers can apply to any of the IB schools worldwide.

It provides candidates an opportunity to develop theoretical knowledge and field study experience which includes lesson plans, materials along with assessments unique to local curriculum requirements and contexts.
