Telangana: K Chandrasekhar Rao asks state departments to give report

The departments have to update their activities and submit within a week.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday sought progress reports from all departments relating to their activities. The departments have to update their activities and submit within a week. On the directions of the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) has sent a circular to all departments asking them to submit the progress reports within a week.

The CMO has also asked the reports from state planning board on progress achieved by three-member committee, which was constituted for consultations with AP on the usage of government offices and quarters located at Hyderabad which were allotted to AP state at the time of state bifurcation, assembly constituency development funds and others.

The departments have to update their development activities and also prepare their future plans. The departments have been asked to prepare the report on their achievements in the last 3 years and what are the schemes that are yet to be implemented.

The CMO has sought a report on implementation of MLA’s constituency development funds scheme. The government has enhanced the MLA’s Constituency development funds to Rs 3 crore from Rs 1.5 crore and gave complete freedom to MLAs on its usage.
