International Yoga Day: Expect traffic jams around Kanteerava Stadium

Small buses, cars and two-wheelers are given parking in and around the stadium.

BENGALURU: As a large number of people are expected to gather for the 2nd International Yoga Day on Tuesday, the city traffic police have made arrangements to ensure smooth flow of traffic around Kanteerava Stadium.

“Parking arrangements have been made inside the stadium. Small buses, cars and two-wheelers are given parking in and around the stadium. Big buses can be parked on the left side of Kasturba Road, between Hudson Circle and Siddalingaiah Circle. The programme is expected to commence at 8.30 am and till the completion of the programme, the roads in and around the stadium are expected to have more traffic. We request the public to avoid Kasturba Road from Hudson circle to Siddalingaiah Circle, Mallya Hospital Road and R.R.M.R. Road,” a release from the traffic police said.
