N Chandrababu Naidu to set stone for airport in Orvakal today

KURNOOL: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundations for several developmental programmes on Wednesday. These include Greenfield Airport at Orvakal. The CM will also interact with farmers during his visit. District officials have made elaborate arrangements for the visit.

After landing at Thangadancha village in Nandikotkur assembly constituency, the CM will lay the foundation stone for the Jain Irrigation factory and will interact with farmers. He will also lay  foundation for Greenfield Airport near Rock Garden at Orvakal in Panyam assembly segment. Later, he will inaugurate the Bala Bharathi School building that is constructed on an area extending up to 6.80 acres with an investment of around Rs 7 crore by the self help groups. Later he will interact with 10,000 women and will also inaugurate the Anna Amrutha Hastham and Balamrutham schemes at Orvakal. The CM will take an aerial survey of world’s biggest solar park at Shakunala and Ghani that was constructed at a cost of Rs 6,000 crore.

The CM will fly to Nandyal from Orvakal where he will address a gathering at the Government Degree College. Prior to the meeting, Mr Naidu will lay foundation stones to several developmental works at Nandyal Market Yard. Later he will participate in an Iftar dinner organised by Muslims.  He will also lay stone for construction of 13,000 houses and will distribute cheques worth Rs 5000 each to 12,000 members under Dulhan scheme. The CM will spend the night at Roads and Buildings (R&B) guest house.
