Ramzan Tohfa is the first of its kind, says N Chandrababu Naidu

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu participated in the Iftar programme hosted by Vijayawada west MLA Jaleel Khan on Tuesday.

Mr Naidu mentioned about establishment of residential schools forMuslims and allocating Rs 100 crore for their education.

While speaking on the occasion, Mr Naidu also said about constructing Haj Houses in Vijayawada and Kadapa, and also mentioned about funds allocation for renovating the masjids and construction of shadikhanas. He even pointed to the Budget allocation of Rs 840 crore for the Muslims and providing Rs 50,000 for the wedding of poor Muslim girls.

Mr Naidu released Rs 5 lakh for cancer victim Nazia Sultana towards treatment. He said that Iftar treat will be offered in all the districts on behalf of the state government and that providing Iftar Tohfa is the first time in the history of the nation and that fasting during Ramzan is sacred.

While speaking to media on this occasion, Mr Jaleel Khan said he had joined hands with the TD by looking at the hard working nature of Mr Naidu, and that he also had seen what YSRC chief Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy was in two years.

Mr Jaleel Khan said public had voted for Mr Naidu with the trust on him, and Muslims are happy under his governance and are ready to make Mr Naidu win for 20 more times. He even pointed out that Mus-lims are 12 per cent in the state and requested to fulfil the promise of constructing Haj Houses in Vijayawada. He said about his life being in Mr Naidu’s hands.
