Hyderabad: Three-year-old Abhishek Bonutu has fractured after treatment allegedly went wrong in the Government Homeo Hospital at Ramanthapur. A poli-ce case has been registe-red against the hospital with the Uppal police.
The child was brought for treatment by the parents Sunitha and Bhas-kar who are migrant la-bourers from Sangar-eddy district. Abhishek had fallen down and injured his leg due to which there was severe swelling and bruises.
Dr Kiran Kumar of the government hospital treated the child but in doing so seem to have fractured his right leg. The father, Bhaskar, told the police that when the swelling did not go down, he was asked to take the child to a private hospital.
The private hospital at Malakpet declared that the leg had been fractured. The angry parents called Dr Kiran but his phone was switched off. The parents also complained to the hospital superintendent Dr Linga Rao. A group of migrant workers sat on a dharna at the hospital on Wednesday morning.
