Kochi: CA students meet held
More than 700 CA students attended the meet.
Kochi: Ernakulam District Collector S.Suhas on Saturday inaugurated the CA Students’ Conference organized by Board of Studies of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and hosted by Ernakulam branch of Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of ICAI & Ernakulam branch of SICASA (CA Students Association).
Babu Abraham Kallivayalil, central council member of ICAI, Jomon K George, chairman, SIRC of ICAI, Sreenivasan.P.R, chairman, Ernakulam branch of SIRC, Deepa Varghese, SICASA chairperson and Jinu Baby, SICASA secretary, spoke on the occasion.
G. Sekar, central council member of ICAI took a motivational session on “Importance of ethics / ethical values in the profession” and Ven-guopal C Govind, found-er secretary of the Ern-akulam branch, took a special session on “what makes ICAI different compared to similar professions across India”.
CA students from various part of the country presented technical papers on contemporary topics, sharing their success stories amongst their peers and moti vated the participants to develop their public speaking and presentation skills. More than 700 CA students attended the meet.
