Kerala: MBBS 2nd allocation date extended to August.23

Kochi: Kerala has extended the deadline for completing the admission process for MBBS and BDS as per the second allotment to 5 pm on Thursday because of the flood situation.

A statement from the controller of examinations on Monday said mop-up counselling for the remaining seats for MBBS would be held at the old auditorium of Thiruvananthapuram Government Medical College on August 28.

The mop-up slip will be available on its website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from August 23.

It had published the detailed notification including guidelines for mop-up counselling on the website on August 14. Students who have gained admission under the all India quota will not be eligible for the mop-up counselling.

The last date for completing the admission process for students who have received an allocation in courses other than MBBS and BDS is August 30, 5 pm.

This is the second time the process getting rescheduled in the wake of the flood situation.
