Kochi: Women's adalat settles 40 of 120 cases got

Kochi: The women’s adalat organised by the Kochi City police on Wednesday settled 40 cases of the total 120 petitions received. City police authorities have organised the adalat to resolve cases submitted by women under the eight police stations and the women police station in Ernakulam sub division.

Complaints against domestic violence, family disputes, property disputes have been resolved during the adalat while civil cases were sent for legal procedures. City police commissioner M.P Dinesh, DCP Karthikeyan Gokulachandran, ACP K. Lalji, Central CI  K. Ananthalal, Women Cell CI K.M Leela, North CI K.J Peter and Central SI Joseph Sajan considered the petitions.
