Jammu: A day after Hizbul Mujahideen Commander Zakir Rashid Bhat asked Kashmiri Pandits to return to the valley, the migrants on Thursday rejected it, asserting that they will go back at the time of their choosing.

We outrightly reject his offer as Kashmir historically belongs to Kashmiri Pandits and they would not return on the agenda set by separatists and terrorists or their masters across the border, said Kundan Kashmiri, chief of Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC).

He said the community would return on their own terms and conditions as well as at the time chosen by the community.

He said the HM commander, on one hand was trying to give an impression to the world that the pro-Pakistan terrorist groups are secular, and on the other hand, to provide an opportunity to radicals, separatists and stone-pelters to attack these helpless people again in case they returned to their native places.
