Orders reserved on Jagan Mohan Reddy's plea

Hyderabad: The Special CBI Court of Hyderabad City on Friday reserved its orders on a petition moved by YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seeking exemption from appearing before the court so he could participate in a padayatra from November 2, 2017.
Counsel appearing for Mr Reddy told the court that his client should be exempted from personal appearance in court for six months as he proposed to undertake a 3,000-km padayatra.
Counsels appearing for the CBI and the Enfor-cement Directorate opposing the petition saying it was not maintainable.
The judge told Mr Red-dy’s counsel that his client could tell the public during the padayatra that he had respect for the court.
