Hyderabad: Vinusha was to get married soon
The couple was heading to Yadadri to seek blessings and offer prayers when they met with the accident on Friday, said Mr Srinivasa Rao.
Hyderabad: “My grand-daughter got engaged to Kiran just two months ago,” said Vinusha’s grief-stricken grandfather Dhanishetty Srinivasa Rao, mourning her sudden death that has left her family in shock.
The couple was heading to Yadadri to seek blessings and offer prayers when they met with the accident on Friday, said Mr Srinivasa Rao.
“Vinusha was staying in a hostel in Ameerpet and was a native of Ragampet of Peddapuram in Andhra Pradesh. She was engaged to Kiran two months ago,” he said.
The families were setting up dates and venues when the couple decided to seek blessings at the Yadagirigutta temple.
An eyewitness who was at Uppal bus stop said that it all happened within seconds and the car was being driven at high speed. “The biker lost control and crashed into the divider and the collision caused his helmet to come off his head. The lady (Vinusha) fell further away from the bike and was dragged by a speeding car which was getting onto the flyover,” he said.
