People regret voting TRS back to power, says Arun Singh
Speaking to mediapersons during a visit to the city on Sunday, Mr Singh said that the people do not trust the TRS and its chief anymore.
Hyderabad: BJP general secretary Arun Singh on Sunday claimed that the people were ‘embarrassed’ about having elected the Telangana Rashtra Samiti to power, as he Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had forgotten all his campaign promises.
Speaking to mediapersons during a visit to the city on Sunday, Mr Singh said that the people do not trust the TRS and its chief anymore. “RTC employees are dying and the state government is ignoring the issue even after the High Court intervention.”
“The BJP will continue to support the fight of the RTC workers against the government till the legitimate demands are met and the 48,000 sacked employees are taken back. In BJP-ruled states, the government doesn’t suppress the workers and the RTC has not been privatised anywhere, unlike what is proposed in Telangana state,” he added.
Further, Mr Singh said the BJP would win the Haryana and Maharashtra polls with a full majority. In the next Assembly election, the BJP would come to power in Telangana state as well, as people are inclined towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s, popularity and his initiatives, he added.
