Dubai delegation meets CM, commits investments in Tamil Nadu
During his visit to Dubai, recently, Palaniswami had signed seven Memoranda of Understanding totalling Rs. 4,000 crore investments.
CHENNAI: A delegation from Dubai, comprising mostly of investors, called on Chief Minister Edappadi K.Palaniswami here on Wednesday and renewed their commitment to make sizeable investments in Tamil Nadu. For his part, the CM was said to have assured all measures including speedy clearance of projects and providing suitable lands for new initiatives.
The delegation from Dubai who called on Palaniswami at the secretariat here discussed establishing a Dubai Industrial Park to make it easier for
businessmen from Dubai to invest in Tamil Nadu. During his visit to Dubai, recently, Palaniswami had signed seven Memoranda of Understanding totalling Rs. 4,000 crore investments.
While addressing investors in Dubai, Palaniswami had said, “Tamil Nadu has been taking various initiatives to promote sectors like e-vehicle manufacturing, electronics, hardwareand software, food processing, aircraft MRO facilities. This visit is to seek tangible investments for Tamil Nadu that are mutually rewarding for both the state and the investors. I am happy that the business community in the UAE and the investors here are very keen to know more about our offerings for investment.”
