Malappuram: Passport office to function till June 2018

Malappuram: The Ministry of External Affairs has extended the functioning of the restored Regional Passport Office in Malappuram till June 2018 after a delegation of parliamentarians from Malappuram met Sushma Swaraj, the minister for external affairs. An order in this regard is expected to be issued soon.
The delegation of IUML MPs, P.K. Kunhalikutty, E.T. Muhammed Basheer and P.V. Abdul Wahab met the minister and held talks along with the Chief Passport Officer in Delhi on Tuesday night.
