Hyderabad: BJP MLC N. Ramachander Rao along with newly-elected MLA Raja Singh and party leader Kishan Reddy on Thursday met chief electoral officer Rajat Kumar and complained about irregularities in the voter’s list.
Speaking to media persons later, Mr Ramachander Rao said, “Thousands of names are missing from the voters’ list. Many VVPAT machines and the EVMs had complaints during the initial voting. There were many bogus votes. All matters were informed to Mr Rajat Kumar. We have also told him that missing these many votes is not good for the democratic process and it made lot of difference. This should not be allowed to repeat in the Lok Sabha elections. We have also taken the issue of mismatch in the total votes polled and the total votes counted.”
