Demolish President house, Parliament: Azam Khan

Lucknow: Senior UP minister Mohd Azam Khan has stirred another controversy by saying that the Rashtrapati Bhawan and Parliament should be demolished since they were symbols of slavery.

Mr Khan had earlier sought the demolition of the Taj Mahal, which, according to him, was a criminal waste of money.

Mr Khan made these statements while addressing a function in Rampur. “If the symbols of slavery are to be identified, then the Taj Mahal, Rashtrapati Bhawan and Parliament would be in the list,” he said.
